The CNC milling combined with the fine balancing and extremely easy running bearing provides a noticeably smoother rotation than the original items. This wheel hub is compatible with the original PIAGGIO steering columns fitted to their MP3/GTS models etc, once combined with a brake disc possessing 105mm diameter, six-hole fixing points. The scooter models produced before 2013 will also require a new crown-gear cog to operate the speedometer worm-drive (#PI267818). Models produced since 2014 are factory-equipped with a speed-sensor integrated into the scooters wiring loom, they will not require this additional crown-gear cog.
