This high quality ATV, go-kart, and scooter part is the high performance voltage regulator for several TaoTao ATVs and ‘karts as well as the Vento 150 / GY6 scooters from NCY.
The regulator (or rectifier) will allow your scooter to gain 15% more power that your stock regulator was able to provide. As a safety note, the better the regulator, the brighter your lights. And brighter lights equal greater visibility.
The purpose of a rectifier is to prevent the capacitor from discharging prior to ignition (turning the key). Upon ignition, the rectifier stops charging the capacitor, allowing the capacitor to transfer the 400-600 Volt charge to the ignition coil.
Please note that this voltage regulator will not work on the Genuine Buddy 125.
