This carrier is hooked to the headset with a spring, tilted and then locked at the correct angle for the light beam to point where it should with a clamp. If one of these parts is missing, or broken, you will no longer be able to adjust the headlight and your light will be all over the place instead of on the road where it should be. Unfortunately Piaggio does no longer stock a number of important spare parts.
