This capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) module (ignitor) for the Baja Sun City (SC50S) is equipped with six vertical pins in a square connector. Please look carefully at the pictures before ordering as some earlier versions of the SC50 scooter used a different CDI module.
This CDI is equipped with a “rev limiter”, which limits the RPMs (speed), of the engine.
Note: 4-stroke and 2-stroke engines require different engine timing. Though they may appear visually similar, a CDI module from a 4-stroke engine cannot be interchanged with a CDI module from a 2-stroke engine.
