Capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) module (ignitor) for 50cc, 70cc, 90cc, 110cc, 150cc gas scooters, ATVs, dirt bikes, and go-karts with 4-Stroke GY6/QMB139 or Chinese made Honda-style engines. This CDI has a 5 pin square connector as shown.
This CDI module is equipped with a “rev limiter”, which limits the speed (RPMs) of the engine.
This CDI is found on many brands of vehicles, such as Baja, Honda, Panterra, Redcat, Roketa, SunL, Tank.
Note:
4-stroke and 2-stroke engines require different engine timing. Though they may appear visually similar, a CDI module from a 4-stroke engine cannot be interchanged with a CDI module from a 2-stroke engine. Specifications
