If the sealing surface of the disc valve intake is damaged it is not possible for sufficient pressure to be created to take the gas mix into the combustion chamber. The scooter will not start and does not have sufficient idling mix. To eliminate this defect without having to change the original 50cc setup or having to get a new crankcase, in the SERIE PRO range with the reed valve manifold we now finally offer a solid solution for the repair of the damaged disc valve sealing surface especially for the DELL’ORTO SHB 16.10 and the PK 50. The reed valve manifold can simply be screwed on without any modifications to the engine or the chassis. It completes the task of the defective disc valve control and the Vespa runs again. The intake manifold is available with 2 or 3 hole attachment.
