Due to the tough PO4 steel used in their construction they possess a greatly increased stability at high temperature. The surface is nitrated and the drive cog teeth are produced using carbide steel machined from solid round stock. In their final step of production these MALOSSI clutch bells are fine balanced and counterweighted to guarantee smooth running, whatever the engine speed.
