Product descriptionA steering column developed for race use. Suitable for PIAGGIO ZIP SP, but also easily modifiable for use with Vespa Smallframe scooters and other models. The POLINI Evolution steering column was initially developed to improve the performance and safety of scooters taking part in the POLINI Cup race series. The structural limits of the original steering column restrict effective improvement of the front suspensions performance. This was solved by developing a much stiffer and stronger steering column from a high-quality steel alloy, avoiding the aluminium construction of the original type completely.
