With its special tread pattern, the MITAS MC 35 S-Racer is first and foremost a racing tyre. The semi-slick is available in four compounds, whereby the Super Soft version with the NHS marking is not approved for road use.

The respective compound can be read from the blue labels on the side wall of the tyre:
Road: A sporty everyday tyre for road use.
Medium: For warm weather on rough road surfaces.
Soft: For medium temperatures on medium-rough road surface
