Successor ran even more boldly modified SERIE PRO inline crankshafts, some with stroke up to 63mm. Which is the right one Did EVO engine or crankshaft bell flow This decision can only be made by the Quarter Miler and Dyno Jet. There are two difference opinions in the high end pilot cockpit. The only way to know is to try it yourself. The EVO flowed crankshaft from worb5 is eye candy. You won’t find a tree with a greater reach than this. Super workmanship. The crank stub has been laser welded onto the 62er to enhance durability. The 62er and 62.5er are equipped with a pop up DRT stub, soldering is not an absolute necessity here. With this version the crankcase will have to be machined, to keep the connecting rod positioned further ahead out of rubbing. A must be raised 0.5 – 1.0mm taller, to keep the elastic band from poking out. A 210er with 62mm of travel goes up to 228cc! Crankshafts are based on the MEC long stroke euro shaft. The 63er from PEP Parts shafts is a new build. This is a limited edition produced in Italy. Their polished flanges are highly modified. Their crank studs are made from high quality molding material, making them resistant to twisting without welding. The result: more running costs and takes effort, but keeping up with the pack was worth it. Sliding EVO crankshaft / 60-63mm stroke / 110mm connecting rod / 25mm / 25mm, M12 Sliding EVO crankshaft, with slender crank flanges, balanced 12 o’clock, bottom bearing connecting rod = silver bearing, 110mm connecting rod 60 /62 / 62.5 / 63mm stroke, fit crankcase gasket 24mm, suitable bearing 25mm, chamfered cone / shim with M12 thread, includes connecting rod bearing. SIP user community Ben Nowak, PEP Parts, Germany: “the 63er shaft runs in our quarter mile engine with 37.4 hp and 33.5 Nm”.
